In addition to Sherry’s Saturday schedule, we are also welcoming two new acupuncturists to the team.
Veronica Yang and James Bailey will both offer hours during the week and on weekends. Please take a moment to check out their bios here and learn more about their backgrounds and specialities.
Currently, James and Veronica are in network with MassHealth and Tufts health plans. Harvard Pilgrim and Humana coverage starts July 1. Aetna coverage starts mid-July, and all other major plans are coming very soon (hopefully in July).
Great Wave is now offering Chinese Herbal Medicine!
In addition to acupuncture, James and Veronica are also certified to offer Chinese herbal medicine. Chinese herbal medicine can treat a very wide variety of conditions, utilizing top quality herbal formulas, selected and customized specifically for you. New patients can set up an initial herbal consult. Patients can now schedule an initial herbal consultation, discuss herbal medicine during an acupuncture appointment with Veronica or James, or book dedicated herbal follow-up appointments. Herbal follow-up appointments are available in person or via telehealth.
Please note, herbal medicine services are not covered by insurance. However, we strive to keep our pricing affordable and accessible.

Nutrition Counseling at Great Wave this Summer
Summer is a great time to improve your nutrition, especially with all the amazing fresh produce that’s available. Book an appointment with our registered dietitian extroirdiannaire, Jessica Roy. She has loads of tips and tricks to make delicious and nutritious food prep easy and fun.
Acupuncture with Lauryn, Ken, and Sherry
Lauryn offers acupuncture appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Her schedule has been filling up rapidly because she’s awesome. We advise booking ahead of time to secure a spot!
Sherry offers acupuncture and Medical Qi Gong appointments on Saturday morning and early afternoon. Sherry’s schedule typically fills up rapidly as well, because she too is awesome!
Ken is here Mondays through Fridays and occasionally on weekends. He couldn’t be happier with the amazing team here at Great Wave and our amazing patients.
